Austrian is an airline based in Vienna, Austria. As it is a European airline, it has to follow EU / UK laws and regulations. There are two regulations which apply to the airline — the EU Flight Compensation Regulation No 261/2004 and the Regulation UK261. Both of these regulations are very similar.
